Digitisation is currently on everyone’s lips in Europe, because by international standards many small and medium-sized enterprises are on a technically outdated level. Industry 4.0″ opens up many additional attractive future potentials with exciting business models and new markets. According to the KfW banking group, almost 50 percent of all medium-sized companies invest less than EUR 10,000 a year to drive digital change. Only one fifth of the companies surveyed have a digitization strategy at all. According to information from a ZEW study, the main reason for the sluggish investments lies in unsecured financing. According to this study, despite a high equity ratio, 77 percent of digitization projects are financed from current income, with bank loans playing practically no role. (more…)
We currently have a limited number of FileMaker Pro Advanced 17 licenses in stock. As the FileMaker 18 Platform has already been released, the buyer will receive a license key for FileMaker Pro Advanced 17 and FileMaker Pro Advanced 18 and their installation programs. FileMaker Pro Advanced 17 runs on the Mac starting with macOS 10.12 “Sierra”, while the newer version 18 requires at least macOS 10.13 “High Sierra”. FileMaker Pro 17 can therefore also be used on older operating systems. Once the available licenses are sold out, only one license key for FileMaker Pro Advanced 18 will be shipped.
The gFM Business ERP software can be used with both FileMaker Pro Advanced 17 and FileMaker Pro Advanced 18. To purchase a bundle license of FileMaker Pro 17 and 18 Advanced, a valid license of gFM-Business Basic, Light or Professional is required. (more…)
Today we released the gFM-Business ERP software in updated version 4.3.1. The new version contains a small error correction in the [Services] module of the [Customer/CRM] module. In the [Services] module, unmarked entries were also printed on the list as part of the “Print selected” function – this error has been corrected in the current version. gFM-Business Light and Professional also now support scanners under Windows via the Windows WIA interface. Documents can now be scanned under Windows via TWAIN or WIA.
A major update to gFM-Business 4.5 is currently under development. The user interface of gFM-Business 4.5 will support multiple languages that can be customized. The upcoming update to gFM-Business 4.5 is expected to be released in September 2019. This update to gFM-Business 4.3.1 should only be installed if the [Services] module is used in the CRM and/or is to be used under Windows Scanner via the WIA interface. (more…)
Today we released the updated version 4.3 of our gFM Business ERP software. The new version contains some new features, optimizations and bug fixes. With the new phonetic quick search you can find your desired data even faster. Simply dictate to the software what you are looking for, e.g. “Show all customers from 2018”. gFM-Business 4.3 contains some optimized masks and lists in the invoice and in all email lists. As part of the REST API interface for online shops, a customer data record can now also be entered in the CRM for a guest order (currently only applies to WooCommerce online shops). File attachments can now be saved either as a file within the database or just as a reference. The dialog for entering new document items has been optimized in the billing document. The “Invoice” print layout now contains the VAT ID of the relevant customer, if this has been maintained. (more…)
Today we have updated all versions of the gFM Business ERP software to version 4.1. The new version contains many minor new features and bug fixes, especially in the new email client. The new version contains new batch functions in the e-mail client with which several marked messages can be simultaneously set to read or unread or manually assigned to a customer. The receipt of e-mails could be somewhat accelerated in the new version. Due to a data change, the update of exchange rates via the ECB server no longer worked in the previous version – this problem has been fixed in the current version.
Starting with version 4.1, the gFM-Business Free and Basic invoicing programs contain a connection to any PDF printer driver and now offer the new functions “Send as PDF” and “Send all as PDF” in all invoice document types. gFM-Business 4.1 is now available for download and is free of charge for all gFM-Business 4.x users.
