The CRM and merchandise management system gFM-Business is based on the Claris FileMaker platform and offers all the functions and advantages of FileMaker. gFM-Business also has numerous other advantages to facilitate customization and expansion:

• Dynamic navigation - With dynamic navigation, new screen masks can be added system-wide in no time at all. Simply copy an existing layout or layout template, assign the layout to a module in gFM-Business and a new screen template is available. The dynamic navigation makes it possible to show and hide any modules and sub-modules on a user-specific basis.
• Dynamic main menu - Like the navigation, the main menu is also dynamic and allows the user-specific display of menu items. You can add a new menu item to the main menu with just a few mouse clicks.
• Templates for screen masks - Easily add new screen masks for Mac OS X, Windows and iPad using layout templates.
• Integrated custom functions - gFM-Business already contains numerous own functions (custom functions) for use in formulas and scripts.
• Integrated standard scripts - gFM Business contains many integrated scripts for standard tasks. If you add a new document type, for example, existing scripts only need to be extended in a simple way to obtain the full range of functions for the new document type.
• Dynamic import system - For importing data, gFM Business has a dynamic import system that allows you to import any number of data from different sources. Simply add your desired data import, expand the value list for the data import accordingly, and the new data import is available in gFM Business.
• Integrated printing system - The integrated printing system makes it easy to add new print layouts throughout the system.
• Program code and data separated - If only changes are made to the program code, only the main database "gFM_Business.fmp12" needs to be updated. All data remains unchanged after an update.

Simple expandability of all existing objects

The user interface of the gFM-Business ERP software has been further optimized in gFM-Business 4.6. This applies not only to the data content of all screen masks, but also to the entire navigation, all function menus and favorites buttons. As a result, not only have more than 10,000 layout objects been removed across the solution, but the overall performance of the software has also been increased.

All labeling and navigation objects have been converted to button bar elements in gFM Business. These objects are much easier to customize because they can be edited simply by double-clicking on the respective object. The label itself is obtained dynamically from the language table using a formula. If desired, each label object can also be directly assigned an additional symbol or a button function and the object can be reformatted if required.

With the revised user interface, users of a customizing or open license can now add customizations and extensions even more easily and quickly.

Developer module with integrated documentation

gFM-Business includes a developer module that makes it much easier for developers to customize and extend the software. With the development log, all changes to layouts can be automatically recorded with screenshots before and after the change.

Add new masks to the main menu and navigation in seconds. 

The developer module contains the entire documentation of gFM-Business and enables a full-text search for tables, fields and scripts, whereby the script source codes can also be searched. This makes it possible to adapt and expand existing functions of the ERP software extremely quickly.
