Individual and user-defined settings
gFM-Business was designed to be as open as possible in order to meet the broadest possible range of requirements. In addition to individual company-wide master data, gFM-Business allows many settings and defaults that can be set up on a user-specific basis. For example, each user can individually set which menu items the main menu should contain, which screens or program parts should be displayed or hidden and with which appearance gFM-Business should start. In addition, the default values to be entered in input dialogs can be set individually for each user. In this way, optimum settings can be made on a user-specific or department-wide basis.
gFM-Business is one of the few merchandise management systems that supports fully customized print layouts. All print layouts can be customized by the user with FileMaker Pro (or -Advanced) as in a DTP or word processing program and support more than 30 placeholders for dynamic data from the database.
gFM-Business Custom Professional includes a user account that contains additional authorizations to change and expand all screen masks and list views. gFM-Business Custom Professional also supports the renaming of all texts and dialogs in the entire software and the use of up to eight languages. Language sentences in new languages can be automatically translated using Google Translate or Deepl Pro (corresponding API account required).
The open license of gFM-Business Professional includes a user account that allows you to customize and extend the entire software. Add new tables, fields and relationships, modify and extend existing scripts or add new scripts. With the open license of gFM-Business you have unlimited access to all the possibilities of the FileMaker platform.
