What are radio buttons in FileMaker?

To add radio buttons to a field, switch to layout mode in FileMaker and click on the desired field. In the inspector (View > Inspector), you can now add radio buttons in the [Field] of the register [Data] to define all display settings for the selected field:
Show data from: (Field to be displayed)
Control style (Form in which the field is to be displayed. By default, a field is displayed as an edit field. Other possible options: Drop-down list, drop-down menu, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down calendar)
Allow other values to be entered
This function is used to add an additional entry to the value list [Other...] is added. After selecting this entry, a dialog for entering individual values appears.
Attention: Individually entered values are not displayed as an option field if they are not available in the value list for displaying the option fields.
