The new version of the software, which is based on the FileMaker platform, contains numerous new functions such as an integrated e-mail client, new online shop interfaces based on the REST API, a ticket system for automated tracking of support cases, several enhancements in the statistics module and many other new functions in CRM and billing. The latest version 4.0 of the gFM Business ERP software contains an integrated e-mail client that can be used to process all incoming and outgoing e-mail traffic. Incoming e-mails from known e-mail addresses are automatically marked and assigned to the corresponding contacts. Outgoing e-mails created in gFM-Business are now sent via the integrated e-mail client. The e-mail client has the usual mailboxes such as “Inbox”, “Outbox” or “Sent e-mails”, so that all e-mail traffic can be traced exactly as in any other e-mail software. Within gFM-Business, the e-mail client can be opened from any mask with a mouse click.
All versions of gFM-Business 4.0 have a new interface to online shop systems, with which customers, orders and articles can be transferred from the online shop to the ERP software at the click of a mouse. The import is carried out via modern REST API interfaces and is now available for Shopware 5, Gambio GX3 and WooCommerce online shops. gFM Business free and Basic support the connection to an online shop. In gFM Business Light and Professional, the new online shop interface is multishop-capable and supports the transfer of data from any number of online shops, even in mixed environments. The ERP software gFM-Business, which is based on the FileMaker platform, can be used in many different ways. In the simplest variant, the software is used on a single workstation, which is installed automatically on macOS and Windows with the installation program. On the network, the gFM Business ERP system with FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go on the Apple iPad can be used by multiple users simultaneously.
But even the standalone versions can be set up so that they can be used on several computers. The Federal association IT middle class registered association. (BITMi) has again awarded the FileMaker-based ERP software gFM-Business for Mac, Windows and iOS with the seal of approval “SOFTWARE MADE IN GERMANY” this year. The industry association thus once again confirms the high practical suitability of the ERP software in daily use.
SOFTWARE MADE IN GERMANY is an initiative of the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand (BITMi e.V.). The BITMi e.V. is the representation of the IT middle class in Germany and the IT professional association, which represents exclusively middle class interests profiliert. As part of the “SOFTWARE MADE IN GERMANY” seal of approval, the ERP software and customer service are extensively tested and evaluated by an expert advisory board in several categories. This includes the development of the software in Germany, constant quality assurance, a clear user interface and a help system as well as fast and uncomplicated customer service.
