The function bar in gFM-Business
The function bar is located at the bottom of a mask in the gFM-Business enterprise software and serves to call up functions that are assigned to the respective mask.
For the most frequently used functions, up to five favorite buttons can be defined in the function bar. These definitions may differ from user to user. At the right edge of the function bar you can switch between form view and list view, if the mask has a separate list view.
At the left edge of the function bar is the button for all main functions that are available within the called mask. Clicking on the icon opens a pop-up menu in which all available functions can be called up.
On each mask, up to five favorite buttons can be defined per user, whereby it is possible to define different favorite buttons for each user.
Setup of the root favorites
Under the menu item [Settings > Appearance > Buttons] all root favorites can be defined. All favorite buttons set here are automatically applied to the user settings when a new user is created. To define a button as a favorite button, click on the desired button in the desired mask and select a function to be executed with the button.
Under the menu item [Settings > User > Buttons] all favorite buttons of a user can be defined. To define a button as a favorite button for a user, first select the user for whom the favorite button is to be set up under [Current user]. Then click on the desired button in the desired mask and select a function to be performed with the button. As soon as the user logs on to gFM-Business, the corresponding favorites button appears on the specified screen.
Switch between form and list view
With the two buttons on the right side of the toolbar you can switch between form and list view. These buttons are only available if the called up form has a separate list view.
