The function bar in gFM-Business
The function bar is located at the bottom of a screen in the gFM Business software and is used to call up functions that are assigned to the respective screen.
Up to five favorite buttons can be defined in the toolbar for the most frequently used functions. These definitions can differ from user to user. You can switch between the form and list view on the right-hand side of the toolbar if the screen has a separate list view.
Main functions
On the left-hand side of the function bar is the button for all main functions that are available within the screen called up. Clicking on the icon opens a pop-up menu in which all available functions can be called up.
Favorites buttons
Up to five favorites buttons can be defined per user on each screen, whereby it is possible to define different favorites buttons for each user.
Setting up the regular favorites
Under the menu item [Settings > Appearance > Buttons] all master favorites can be defined. All favorite buttons set here are automatically transferred to the user settings when a new user is created. To define a button as a favorite button, click on the desired button in the desired screen and select a function to be executed with the button.
Setting up the favorites buttons for users
Under the menu item [Settings > User > Buttons] all of a user's favorite buttons can be defined. To define a button as a favorite button for a user, first select the button under [Current user] select the user for whom the favorites button is to be set up. Then click on the desired button in the desired screen and select a function to be executed with the button. As soon as the user logs on to gFM Business, the corresponding Favorites button appears on the specified screen.
Switch between form and list view
The two buttons on the right-hand side of the toolbar can be used to switch between the form and list view. These buttons are only available if the screen called up has a separate list view.
