The form view in gFM-Business
In the gFM-Business enterprise software, a distinction is made on masks between the form view and the list view. The form view contains all the fields of a mask and, if necessary, some tab buttons under which further information can be displayed.
Search for data records in the form view
Click on the [Search] icon in the toolbar to enter Search mode. As soon as the search mode has been activated, a small magnifying glass symbol appears in each field to indicate the search mode. If there is contiguous data on other masks, you can navigate to other masks during the search in order to enter corresponding search criteria. Navigating to masks with non-contiguous data or from other modules is not possible in search mode. The buttons are displayed inactive accordingly.
In Find mode, you can enter any search criteria in any field displayed. Switching to other masks is only possible for related data. In Find mode, the icons in the toolbar change. The following toolbar functions are available in Find mode:
- first – switches to the first search query
- Back – switches to previous search query
- Next – switches to the next search query
- end – switches to last search query
- New – creates a new search query (OR link in relation to other search queries)
- delete – removes the current search query
In the toolbar, the search query can be started by clicking the button [Search] or can be cancelled by clicking the button [Cancel Search]. Standard search queries can be selected in the function menu.
Open invoicing as form or list view
In the main menu of gFM-Business, data from the customer administration, from the module ‘Correspondence’, from the article administration and from the inventory administration can be displayed as list view. Under [Settings > Company master], the option [Open documents as] can be used to set whether documents from invoicing should be opened from the main menu in form view or list view.
