For all print layouts and the user interface of the ERP software, gFM-Business supports multilingual display - the standard version includes German, English and French. From gFM-Business Custom Professional, additional languages can be added with automatic pre-translation via Google Translate or Deepl Pro.
gFM-Business can be run under Apple macOS, Microsoft Windows and on iPad tablets. FileMaker Server is available for macOS, Windows and Linux.
The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) integrated in gFM-Business allows the storage of extensive data on every customer and supplier. Any number of addresses, contact persons, actions and resubmissions can be saved for each data record. The CRM includes route planning, time recording with automatic billing of services, a ticket system, annual, monthly and weekly statistics and a comprehensive overview of all documents and receipts associated with the customer.
The integrated calendar in gFM-Business Professional makes it easier to manage appointments in the workgroup. Appointments, tasks and resubmissions can be automatically entered into the calendar from gFM-Business.
All outgoing correspondence can be sent directly from gFM-Business without the use of external Office programs. Documents and serial documents can be created on the basis of a template system, gFM-Business supports the creation of graphic HTML-based e-mails. The integrated e-mail client can be used to send and receive e-mails from any number of accounts. For the capture of paper documents, gFM-Business contains a scan module with automatic text recognition (OCR) in various languages.
All document types from quotation to invoice can be created with the integrated billing system in the gFM-Business ERP software. Existing documents can be converted into follow-on documents, e.g. quotation to order, order to invoice, etc. The invoice supports customer-related discounts from the CRM, price groups, graduated prices and multiple currencies. Orders from online stores can be created as an order or invoice directly via the store interface.Interface can be imported.
The invoice contains a Cash bookinto which invoices and credit notes are automatically posted with DATEV export. Account statements can be imported directly via the clipboard to automatically search for payments from online banking programs. With the integrated SEPA mandate management, you have all direct debits under control.
Physical products, text and service articles can be stored in the integrated article management. Inventory management supports any number of warehouse locations and suppliers. Product variants can be mapped using article attributes, Parts lists and combination articles enable the management of production articles. With the integrated Batch management all deliveries can be tracked down to product level. The article module supports the import of articles from online stores.
gFM-Business contains an integrated module for Project managementwhich allows many documents and contacts from the ERP software to be merged into one project. In addition to project tasks, e-mails and any number of files can be attached to each project.
With the tasks module, tasks and processes can be delegated and linked to a wide range of data across the system. Tasks can also be controlled via the calendar.
Inventory and personnel management as well as integrated logbook management help with the administration of internal company data. The company module also offers comprehensive statistics on an annual, monthly and weekly basis.
gFM-Business Professional supports the management of data for multiple clients. All menu items in the main menu and in the internal navigation can be shown or hidden individually for each user. For each user, you can also define the appearance, the language used when starting the software and dialog entries.

gFM-Business includes an administration module for FileMaker developers that makes it easier to customize and extend the software. With the integrated developer mode, all changes to layouts are saved in a log with optional notes and screenshots before and after the change. Within the developer module, new screen masks can be inserted into the main menu and navigation of the software at the click of a mouse. The developer module also contains the entire internal documentation of the software for tables, fields and scripts with full text search, even within all Script-Sourcecodes.
