gFM-Business 7 ERP software with CRM and merchandise management

Today we launched our gFM Business ERP software has been released in an updated version 7.1. The new version has several new functions, improvements and bug fixes. gFM-Business is a customizable ERP software with integrated CRM, merchandise management, Invoice and other modules. The software is based on the Claris FileMaker platform and can be customized by the user with FileMaker Pro on macOS or Windows. The new version 7.1 contains improvements in the CRM, in the Article management and in the invoice. The software is now available for download and is free of charge for users with a version 7 serial number.

The gFM-Business 7 ERP software was released at the end of 2023 and includes many new features. The new version supports the creation of AI-supported documents and any other texts with ChatGPT. In addition, merchandise management now includes the option to manage any number of cash registers for cash payments.

Optimized input of e-mail addresses

Even small functional improvements can save time in everyday life. With the new optimized entry of e-mail addresses, you can save yourself the tedious typing of some complicated names. The e-mail fields in CRM now have a pop-up menu containing the most common combinations for e-mail addresses. It works very simply:

  1. When you open the pop-up menu for the first time, the most common name combinations appear before the @ sign. Simply select the desired combination.
  2. If you open the pop-up menu a second time, a list of the most common providers of email addresses appears, such as "web.de", "gmail.com", "icloud.com" etc.

 In this way, many e-mail addresses can be easily entered in the corresponding field with two mouse clicks, which saves time and typing in everyday life.

In the article management there is now a new Print layout "Inventory list", which makes it even easier to carry out an inventory in the warehouse. The list contains all items called up (e.g. selected by "Inventory" status or by filled stock) with a field for manually entering the quantity of items counted in the warehouse.

Goods issue list in the stock log

In the management of inventories under [Article > Article stock > Stock log] we have added new fields that can be used to specify a time period for printing a goods issue list. The goods issue list is now available as a print layout in item management. It contains all entries from the stock log and also the stock value from the purchase price.

If you enter a time period (from and to date), a goods issue list is printed for the item called up and the storage location selected in the left-hand column. If the status field to the right of the fields for the time period [All articles] is activated, the goods issue list for the selected storage location is printed for all items called up.

DATEV export without split postings

The functions [DATEV export] and [DATEV export package] in the Cash book-module has been expanded to include the option of generating the DATEV EXTF file with gross values even without split postings. Depending on how the software into which the DATEV file is to be imported prepares the data, you can now choose between a DATEV file with pure gross values and a DATEV file with split postings (VAT as a separate posting). Some accounting programs calculate the VAT automatically from the gross values, in which case the new option should be selected.

The mode for exporting DATEV files can be set in the settings under [Specifications] under the button [Cash registers] can be specified. If the field is active, only gross postings without split postings are generated during the DATEV export.

Further improvements in gFM-Business 7.1

An error during registration has been fixed in the freeware version. In gFM-Business Professional the module [Customers] improved the selection of a salutation. In the REST online storeInterface has been developed for Shopware and WooCommerce corrects the entry of the address number in an imported address.
