Burgkaffee opened its first own coffee roastery in Kempten, Allgäu, in 2009. Six years later, the first "real" café was opened in Oberstdorf, and today there are two more cafés in Wangen in Remise. The coffee roastery has since been expanded, and today more than 50 tons of coffee are usually stored in Kempten for the production of the company's own coffee varieties. This customer uses the multi-client capable gFM Business ERP software with the two locations "Burgkaffee" and "Allgäugast" to separate the business areas of the two companies. Print layout is required for both clients.
XML interface for invoices to catering wholesalers
Burgkaffee and Allgäugast work together with a partner wholesaler who automatically receives a monthly overview of all relevant invoices in XML format. For this purpose, a function was programmed that automatically selects all relevant invoices, generates the appropriate XML file, packages it as a zip archive and then sends it to the wholesaler by e-mail.
Automatically transfer orders from the online store
If you like to drink coffee and perhaps place an order in the Burgkaffee online store after reading this article, your order will be automatically transferred to the gFM Business ERP software and imported as an order. Your order can then be processed immediately by the employees. Once the goods have been packed, they are booked out of the order with a single click and an invoice is generated. Manage machinery and maintenance contracts
As the customer is working with the company Allgäu guest coffee machines and other related equipment in the catering sector and offers maintenance contracts for such equipment, we have developed a new module [Machinery] which can be used to manage and log any machine and its maintenance. A log can be kept at any time for each machine to show which maintenance work has been carried out so far and what work is due on the machine in the future.
Module for rental agreements with installment payments
For the client Allgäu guest we have in the module [Invoice] has created a new module for rental contracts that can be used to manage rental contracts for coffee machines and other appliances. The module offers the creation of installment plans so that every past and future rental payment as well as the receipt of payment is stored exactly in a log and can always be tracked in the future.
